These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Spoken English platform by Learning Links Foundation. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
Spoken English (“the Platform”) is a teacher-facing English learning dashboard operated by Learning Links Foundation. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
The Platform is intended for educators and authorised staff. You sign in using your Google account, and you are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that occurs under it.
You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account.
3. Use of the Platform
You may use the Platform to manage students, view curriculum modules, run practice sessions and assessments, and track learning progress. You agree to use these features only for their intended educational purpose.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Platform, including by attempting to access it through unauthorised means, disrupting its operation, uploading harmful content, or using it to infringe the rights of others.
Audio you record during practice and assessment activities must be your own or your students' genuine spoken responses for the purpose of language evaluation.
5. Content and Intellectual Property
All curriculum content, audio, designs, and software on the Platform are owned by Learning Links Foundation or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works without permission, except for downloadable curriculum notes provided for classroom use.
6. Recordings and Generated Feedback
The Platform records short audio answers to evaluate spoken English and generate feedback and scores. Automated feedback is provided as a learning aid and may not always be accurate; it should be used alongside a teacher's professional judgement.
7. Service Availability
We aim to keep the Platform available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change, and the Platform may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or due to factors beyond our control.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Learning Links Foundation and its technology partner are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Platform.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
